2. Location of Project:
Mansfield Ohio ANG
3. Information Requested: (Include Specification Section and/or Drawing Number and Page if inquiring about a discrepancy)
Regarding the equipment:
1. General Note 4 on Drawing Q-110 says that the equipment is GFGI. However, notes found on the floor plans and reflected ceiling plans indicate that the equipment is GFCI. Please clarify who is installing the equipment.
2. The equipment notes found on the architectural floor plans and reflected ceiling plans say that the contractor is to “receive equipment, place the equipment, provide all connections for proper operation of equipment, test equipment, and certify to the government functionality of all equipment.”
a. Is it new equipment or used equipment?
b. Will we be receiving the equipment at Building 102 or some other location.
c. Do we have to put it together? How many pieces is each piece of equipment broken down into?
d. Are all of the “connections for proper operation” shown on the electrical, plumbing, etc.
plans? If not, for each piece of equipment please tell us what other connections are required that are not specifically shown in our plans. How are we to test it and ensure the proper operation and certify its functionality? How do we know it operated properly to begin with (if it is used equipment)?
3. On the equipment schedules shown on Drawings Q-601 and Q-602, the “power requirements” are shown to be “Provided by ANG”. Does this mean the ANG provided the power requirements to the DOR or is the ANG providing power for the items?

This information is a proposed change to the solicitation/contract. An amendment will be issued.
Contracting Officer:
1. General Note 4 on Drawing Q-110 says that the equipment is GFGI. However, notes found on the floor plans and reflected ceiling plans indicate that the equipment is GFCI. Please clarify who is installing the equipment.
The user equipment is GFGI. The industrial chiller required for the aircraft hydraulic test stand is an exception. The industrial chiller is currently installed at Bldg 414 and this chiller is GFCI. Refer to specification 01 11 00, section 1.8.
2. The equipment notes found on the architectural floor plans and reflected ceiling plans say that the contractor is to “receive equipment, place the equipment, provide all connections for proper operation of equipment, test equipment, and certify to the government functionality of all equipment.”
This is a note that should have been removed from the final set of drawings. User equipment is GFGI, not GFCI.
g. Is it new equipment or used equipment?
Most of the equipment is used, being moved from other facilities. Some equipment will be new.
h. Will we be receiving the equipment at Building 102 or some other location?
Equipment is GFGI.
i. Do we have to put it together? How many pieces is each piece of equipment broken down into?
No, equipment is GFGI.
j. Are all of the “connections for proper operation” shown on the electrical, plumbing, etc.
plans? If not, for each piece of equipment please tell us what other connections are required that are not specifically shown in our plans. The power requirements and utility connections shown on the equipment schedules on Drawings Q-601 and Q-602 seem very incomplete.
Are all utility connections shown here?
Provided utilities (power, air, etc.) as shown on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical, etc.
drawings. To clarify, on Q-601-602, the column listed as “POWER REQUIREMENTS (PROVIDED BY ANG) are the power requirements information we received from ANG, not that these power connections are provided by ANG or Government. These schedules are for informational purposes only.

k. Please provide photos or catalog cut sheets of each piece of equipment that shows the general configuration and weight of each piece of equipment.
