About this file
This file contains project specifications for the Rob Sullivan Park Maintenance Barn, a construction project for the City of Florida. The project involves the procurement and installation of a 25' x 40' x 14' A-frame steel building that must include delivery and installation services. The building features pre-engineered design with welded joints, a T-Truss System design, ridge cap system, and boxed eave surrounds. The facility will be equipped with two 12' x 12' roll-up garage doors on the 40-foot side and one 36" x 80" walk door on the 25-foot side wall. The structure must meet 140 MPH wind load calculations and incorporate conventional vertical roofing with vertical roofing purlins to ensure proper water drainage. The City is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits.
The steel building must be constructed using 14-gauge material with clear organic coating, chromate coating, flo-coat uniform zinc galvanizing, and interior coating, with a yield strength of 50,000 PSI and tensile strength of 55,000 PSI. Roofing purlins are spaced on 5-foot centers. Upon purchase, the supplier must provide engineered sealed prints and calculations at no additional cost to support the City's permit and construction process. Site-specific drawings will be delivered to the City following the purchase order. No information regarding pricing, bid response dates, or contract award timelines is included in the specifications document.
