About this file
This document is a Notional Work Plan Excel spreadsheet for Terrain Interdiction (TI) Maintenance in Yuma, Arizona and El Centro, California for Fiscal Year 2026. The work plan details six specific maintenance tasks across border patrol sectors, including vegetation control, road maintenance, gate maintenance, and sand dune clearing. Tasks range from controlling vegetation along 21 miles of enforcement zones to maintaining 4 miles of roads, checking gate hydraulics, and clearing sand dunes to ensure safe border patrol vehicle access.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (Number 20154783) issued by the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection, seeking a contractor to provide technical maintenance services for border infrastructure. The maintenance scope includes roads, bridges, fences, gates, vegetation control, border lighting, electrical systems, drainage systems, and technical infrastructure attributes like cameras and generators. Mandatory site visits for potential contractors are scheduled for January 26-27, 2026, with attendee lists and questions due to the Contracting Officer by January 21, 2026 at 12 pm EST.
