About this file
This is a Contractor Notional Work Plan that outlines six maintenance tasks for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operations across the Yuma, Arizona and El Centro, California sectors. The work plan provides detailed task descriptions, quantities, geographic coordinates, and work estimate forms for contractors to develop pricing proposals.
The six primary tasks include: (1) ELC IBR Vegetation and Debris removal covering 21 miles with quarterly vegetation control, 50 tons of vine removal, and routine inspections for infrastructure damage; (2) Alamo vegetation control and mowing on 12 acres with 50 tons of debris removal, conducted outside migratory bird nesting season; (3) Blowouts/erosion maintenance on TI and FC-3 roads in El Centro covering 2 miles, including grading, compacting native material to 90% minimum, filling 300 tons of potholes, and maintaining drainage; (4) Mount Signal TI Road maintenance covering 2 miles with similar grading and compacting requirements with lifts not exceeding 4 inches; (5) New River Gate maintenance involving hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical inspections of 6 pulley gate panels with 50 tons of debris removal; and (6) C1 Sand Dunes road maintenance in Buttercup Sand Dunes, Yuma covering 8.5 miles with sand clearing in a 20-foot swath and relocation of 500 tons of sand. Each task includes GPS coordinates, specific work requirements, asset objectives, and blank work estimate forms for labor, travel, equipment, materials, mobilization/demobilization, and other costs. This notional plan is intended to support contractor proposals for the broader TI Maintenance Solicitation requiring expert technical solutions across roads, bridges, fence, gates, vegetation control, border lighting, drainage systems, and technology infrastructure.
