275. Annex 1502000 Spec Item 3.3.10 Spec Item 3.3.10 references Generators and the workload found in J-15020000-03 References J- 15020000-04, which was removed in Amendment 8 according to Section J Documents, Exhibits, and other attachments Table of Contents. Additionally, Generators are found in both Annex 160000 and the new J-0200000-18 Tables, which is expected to be estimated and priced in Annex 15020000 Spec Item
3.2. Would the Government please clarify which Generators it would like estimated/priced in which spec item?
Answer: Preventative maintenance of Government owned equipment (i.e. generators) shall be priced at Spec Item 3.2. The provision of uninterrupted power through commercial power or operation of generators shall be priced at Annex 160000.
276. Annex 15020000 Spec Item 3.3.3 Annex 15020000 Spec Item 3.3.3 Exhaust Hoods and Ducts appears redundant with Spec Item 3.3.7 Fire Protection (Suppression) Systems and Spec Item 3.2 Preventive Maintenance as the J-0200000-18 Table Added in Amendment 8 already lists this equipment, which is supposed to be estimated per 3.2 Preventive Maintenance. Would the Government please provide clarity as to where they would like these items estimated/priced?
Answer: Preventative maintenance of Government owned equipment (i.e. Fire Protection Equipment) shall be priced at Spec Item 3.2.
277. Annex 1200000 MWR Spec Item 3.1.1 Amendment 8 per Attachment J-1200000-03 Estimated Quantities, added an Open Air Gym on Site 1A.
Spec Item 3.2.1 states that “The contractor shall ensure the fitness centers is [sic] useable 24 hours per days. The staffed hours shall be as stated in Spec Item 2.3.1”. Spec Item 2.3.1 Hours of Operation States “Fitness and Recreation Center: M-Sun, 24/7 (Staffed hours)". Currently, this reads as the Government is requiring the Open Air Gym at Site 1A to be staffed at this requirement. Was that the Government’s intention when they added the Open Air Gym in Amendment 8?
Answer: No. The Government did not identify Site 1A in Attachment J-1200000-03, Spec Item 3.2 and subordinate spec items, since the intent is not to staff Site 1A.
