About this file
This document provides amendments and revisions to drawings and specifications for a federal construction contract to build an explosive railcar yard at Naval Support Activity Crane in Crane, Indiana. The project involves demolishing existing buildings and rail infrastructure at the current railcar site and constructing a new railcar holding yard with associated site work. It also includes building a new storage and operations facility for the Defense Logistics Agency with additional site improvements at a separate disposition site. Revisions include changes to drawings, specifications for insulated rail joints, demolition requirements, and removal of sections on work restrictions and sustainability reporting. The contract is awarded through the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command for construction services to upgrade infrastructure and relocate facilities for handling explosive railcars and disposition activities at Crane Army Ammunition Activity.
