About this file
This is a technical specification drawing for structured cabling at Swartz Creek Middle School's natatorium, prepared by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details the requirements for Category 6A UTP cable installation throughout the natatorium facility, including both the upper and first floor areas. The design was completed in December 2024 and January 2025, with specific requirements for wall and ceiling cable locations, faceplate installations, and telecommunications cabinet placement.
The technical specifications require all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A compliant, with specific installation requirements including surface-mounted single-gang back boxes with white two-port faceplates, blank keystone jack inserts for unused ports, and concealed raceway cabling below the ceiling. The drawing includes detailed general notes for installation standards, such as placement requirements relative to whiteboards, service loop specifications for ceiling locations, and grounding requirements for all cabinets. The floor plans show the layout of various rooms including storage areas, offices, locker rooms, and laundry facilities, with telecommunications infrastructure placement clearly marked using the provided symbol legend.
