About this file
This is a structured cabling design drawing for Swartz Creek Middle School, created by Convergent Technology Partners for Swartz Creek Community Schools. The drawing shows Unit C of the middle school and includes detailed specifications for UTP cable installation, including the requirement for ANSI/TIA Category 6A cabling, wall mounting specifications using surface-mounted single-gang back boxes with white two-port faceplates, and ceiling mount locations throughout various classrooms and administrative areas.
The technical specifications include detailed installation requirements such as wall locations being centered below whiteboards at standard height, concealed raceway requirements for below-ceiling cables, service loop specifications for ceiling locations, and the use of white 8P/8C (RJ45) jacks for all Category 6A cable terminations. The drawing indicates multiple classroom locations requiring both wall and ceiling UTP installations, with a telecom cabinet and bus-bar system. The document is dated January 27, 2025 for design, with an earlier design date of December 17, 2024.
