About this file

This is a structured cabling technical design drawing for Swartz Creek Community Schools, specifically for Unit G of Swartz Creek High School, created by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details specifications for Category 6A UTP cable installations throughout Unit G, including classroom spaces, offices, and mechanical areas. The design was issued in December 2024 and January 2025, with drawing number HS-T101G.

The drawing includes detailed specifications for cable installations, requiring all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A standard, with wall locations mounted in single-gang back boxes with white two-port faceplates. The floor plan shows various rooms including classrooms, offices, a computer lab, wrestling room, and mechanical spaces. Technical requirements specify that all cables must be terminated on white 8P/8C (RJ45) jacks, ceiling locations must include service loops, and all cabling below ceiling must be concealed in contractor-provided raceway. The drawing also indicates locations for telecom cabinets, bus-bars, and UTP connection points throughout the space.
