About this file
This document contains a contractor's guide and federal contract opportunity for construction services at Ellsworth Air Force Base. The contractor's guide outlines submittal requirements and deadlines for various project documents to both the base contracting office and civil engineering office, including bids, bonds, payrolls, access requests, schedules, submittals, as-built drawings, and invoices. The 6% limitation on design fees paid from the construction cost estimate is also explained.
The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for multiple award construction contracts to provide new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition and repair work through design-build or design-bid-build methods. The set-aside solicitation seeks service disabled veteran owned small businesses, SBA certified 8(a) small disadvantaged businesses, and HUBZone businesses. Anticipated awards include three indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts between $500,000 to $18 million each from November 2018 to June 2021 for facilities work at Ellsworth Air Force Base.
