STATEMENT OF WORK
Construct Bath House at Outdoor Running Track
Project Number: 1070287
1. The project consists of the investigative, design and construction services to construct a restroom facility at the approximate location shown near the running track south of building 8210. The facility shall house separate male and female areas.
2. The shall have the but not limited to the following features;
A. Bathroom to be handicap accessible B. a. Male area
a. 2 urinals
b. 1 water closet
c. 1 lavatory
d. Mirror, soap dispenser, towel dispenser, etc.
C. Female area
a. 2 water closets
b. 1 lavatory
c. Mirror, soap dispenser, towel dispenser, etc
D. Handicapped accessible sidewalk from bathroom to parking area.
E. All site work required so as to provide proper drainage F. Nominal 20’ by 30’ in area at location shown by attachment G. Storage area (nominal 2.5’ by 4’) within the building. Exterior access with locking door.
H. Exterior compatible with surrounding facilities (Prairie Style Architecture) I. Split faced block walls insulated J. Metal standing seam roof K. Heated interior L. Colored concrete floor M. Minimum of 4’ foundation walls with spread footings on select fill N. Connect facility to base water, electric, and sewer infrastructure O. Existing track may not be disturbed by construction. Athletic field if disturbed to be restored to original condition.

3. Investigative/Design work for this project shall include the following:
a. Investigative services shall include all surveying, soil testing, site visits, records research, as needed to design the project
b. Design services shall include building plans, the installation supporting infrastructure to include but not limited to water service, sewer, manholes (if needed), connections, lift station (if need), and electrical service to the facility.
4. Continuity of Work: The contractor shall not begin work until he is certain the work will continue uninterrupted through completion except for weekends, holidays, or prohibitively adverse weather. There shall be no extended periods of delay in on-site work after work has begun.
5. Government Occupancy: The Government may occupy some of the site during the construction period. Cooperate with the Government during construction operations to minimize conflicts and facilitate Government usage. Perform the Work so as not to interfere with the Government and golf course operation.
6. Utility outages required to facilitate the work must be scheduled and coordinated per the general requirements of the MACC contract.
