Question 55: Will the Government be sending out a new bid schedule for the add option to have the building connect to the existing pad?
Answer 55: See the revised bid schedule dated 25APR19.
Question 56: Can the Government clarify if the requested 10’x15’ storage building is to fit into the 20’x30’ footprint already identified in the previous SOW?
Answer 56: See Amendment 11.
Question 57: Please clarify if the storage room needs to be 10’x15’ or just 150 square feet within the design.
Answer 57: The Government prefers 10’x15’ to allow for UTV storage.
Question 58: What size OH door is required and will it be operated manually or with a powered operator?
Answer 58: The OH door shall be large enough for a UTV to drive in and out of the storage area. It will be powered operation with the ability for manual operation if power is lost.
Question 59: Will there be any vehicles or equipment being stored in the space?
Answer 59: The area will be used for storage of field equipment and an UTV.
Question 60: If there are vehicles or equipment stored in the space, will an exhaust fan be required or requested?
Answer 60: The Government does not anticipate a requirement for nor is requesting an exhaust fan.
Question 61: Would the Government consider leaving the SOW/design as is and change the SOW/design during the 65% design review with the awarded contractor/design team?
Answer 61: No, the Government will not consider this. Contractors shall use the SOW dated
23APR19.
Question 62: Can there be additional time added to the proposal due date if the government is intending on keeping the new SOW with the changes? A minimum of 30 day extension would be preferred as this alteration to the SOW will more than likely require a complete redesign architecturally and structurally as well as impact MEP and civil. We will also need to get pricing for the newly requested item
Answer 62: The Government will provide an additional seven calendar days. The Government believes that is sufficient time to incorporate all the necessary changes.
Question 63: Please clarify how many amendments there are. In FBO, there are only 9 Amendments listed. Amendment 9 folder has amendment 0010 inside. There was one mislabeled or missing somewhere along the way in FBO.
Answer 63: There was an error while posting to FBO on solicitation amendment 3 dated 25 January 2019 which caused all subsequent amendment numberings to be incorrect. There are twelve (12) amendments to the solicitation to include this most recent amendment.
