COMMENTS Number to correspond with applicable Item Number on reverseRow1: This abatement plan was reviewed by Capt. Morris, 7 AMDS/SGPB. His comments are as follows:
1. Section One, 1.3 - The PELs listed are specific to airborne exposures. The abatement is for the removal of surface contamination. Two options are available:
a) Wording along the lines of "Surfaces must be cleaned per OSHA guidelines to "as clean as practicable". The Site Supervisor will review all areas prior to approval. Any areas with visible soiling or dust accumulations will require re-cleaning before final approval".
b) Use of swipe sample limits of detection for metals on surfaces of: Hexavalent Chromium - 0.03 ug/cm2, Cadmium – 2.5 ug/cm2, Lead – 2.5 ug/cm2.
2. Section Two, 3.0 - I believe the first sentence should read "All personnel who will enter containment site or handle contaminated materials -"
3. Section Five, 1.3(f)(1) - The reference should be OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1)

Rene, We will incorporate the comments as listed and revise the abatement plan and resubmit to Farr Builders. I will have to let you know after I get with everyone logistically now that we have a go.
I would like to meet with a structural engineer next Monday to review the 2 booths to see what would have to be done for safety for personnel to work on top of those two structures. We will need to do that to get the insulation down from those sections without spanning across.
I would like to do this Monday 25th if possible. Since the engineer will only be coming on one time for consultation, I would only need to get a temporary pass for him. Is there someone who could vouch him on for us?
Thanks

Good Morning, This will not require a resubmission as long as you agree to accept the review comments suggested. However, if the you wish to discuss or propose solutions not conforming to the comments, then we would need to see a resubmittal, so Capt.
Morris can again review and respond. If you do not understand one of the comments please let us know. Also, can you let us know what date you plan to begin the abatement?
