About this file
This is a Synopsis for Anticipated Orders issued by the 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base on February 5, 2026, announcing two upcoming contract opportunities under Pool 1. The document outlines anticipated federal construction and facility renovation projects for the base.
The first anticipated order concerns the B878 Split System Replacement Phase 2, located at Building 878 on Travis AFB, with an estimated magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000. The contractor must provide complete labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision to remove and replace an existing 4-ton Carrier air conditioning system (condenser and evaporator/furnace) with a new DX split heat pump system on the roof, including associated ductwork replacement, integration with existing dampers, connection to the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) ports, and relocation of existing ductwork from the attic. All work must comply with Federal, State, and Local Code requirements, including the International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, International Energy Conservation Code, National Electrical Code, ASHRAE standards, OSHA, NFPA, and Unified Facilities Criteria. The contractor must also ensure BACnet/ASHRAE-135 protocol compliance for seamless integration with the existing Johnson Controls Metasys server per UFC 3-410-02.
The second anticipated order is for a Storefront Door Package affecting multiple buildings across Travis AFB (Buildings 155, 179, 380, 383, 549, 615, 660, and 8993), with an estimated magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000. The contractor must resolve door-related issues while coordinating with building occupants and facility managers to minimize mission interruption, providing 14 days' advance notice of any shutdowns. Work must comply with Federal, State, and Local Code requirements, including the National Standard Plumbing Code, National Electrical Code, ASHRAE standards, OSHA, NFPA, and UFC codes. For both opportunities, the Contracting Officer is to be determined, and the Point of Contact is 2nd Lt Phillip Manwaring at phillips.manwaring@us.af.mil or DSN 424-7769.
