1. Reference: Site Visits.
Question: Does each installation have a published standard permits and fees schedule to be included, as needed, as an estimate line item?
Response: There is no published standard permits and fees schedule for the installations. However, Offerors will know when proposing on task orders whether the project requirements include drilling a well, performing asbestos abatement, etc. Offerors can contact the state agency and find out the cost of permits to accurately propose on the task order.
2. Reference: Site Visits.
Question: At the US Air Force Academy, it was mentioned that Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) would be the authority when tying into or extending existing utilities. Will tap fees and other infrastructure cost be a SABER contractor cost?
Response: Yes, tap or connection fees will be a part of individual task orders at USAFA.
3. Reference: Site Visits.
Question: At the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, when equipment is required to be shut down to perform SABER work, are facility personnel/Escorts the only authorized people to contact CCC to have the equipment shut down and turned back on?
Response: Coordination with the Central Control Center (also CCC or “Triple C”) can be accomplished by any facility personnel, escorts, or contractor personnel. Coordination is a safety issue and the CCC must be notified.
