About this file
This document provides a template for breaking out general condition costs on a schedule of values for a federal construction contract. It lists general condition cost categories such as superintendent, project manager, field office engineer, builder's risk insurance, site maintenance, signage, travel, record document preparation, and information technology. For each category, the template specifies a value field to enter the associated costs. It also provides that overhead and fee percentages per the VAAR are to include insurance other than listed, supervisors and assistants, security, small tools, job burdens, and general home office expenses, for which no separate allowance will be made.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number 36C24921R0010 to renovate building 34 at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical center to correct deficiencies under the Federal Construction Alert program.

Assistants to office supervisors include all clerical, stenographic and general office help.
