About this file
This document contains responses to questions regarding a solicitation for renovations to Building 34 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The solicitation requires renovations to correct facility condition assessment deficiencies. Security guards will not be needed for the project as the facility will be vacated prior to notice to proceed. Furnishings will need to be removed and palletized for storage in the paint booth area or loading docks. The single superintendent may serve as the site safety and health officer. LEED and BIM requirements are not specified. Thermography testing is not required. Simplex Grinnell services the fire alarm, PlugSmart the HVAC controls, and the VA police services maintain access controls and the CCTV system. A room finish schedule can be found in specification section 09 06 00. Key note 11 on plan sheet 34-A-102 shall be the same as key note 5.
