52. Sheet 34-FX-001 shows the existing Water Site Plan around Building 34, the Symbol list on the drawing shows existing to remain line type as a lighter colored line type and new work line type as a darker line. Is the underground dark lines on the Water Site Plan part of this contract? If so, could the VA provide a scale and Civil Drawings to accommodate the work?
53. The existing skylight in the attic may have to be removed and replaced to allow access for new equipment. During the Site Visit existing conditions show extensive water damage to the existing wood structure supporting the skylight.
Does the VA intend for the General Contractor to have this repaired?
54. The Existing skylight has caused severe water damage to the existing conditions within the Plenum Return Grille
Room. Does the VA intend for the General Contractor to have this repaired?
55. Sheet 34-AD-105 shows note 9 in Room E104 Museum. To replace and repair plaster ceiling as required. There is several locations in this room with Flakey Paint and possible Plaster repairs. 60. Sheet 34-A-102, Site Visit showed that an existing down spout is missing from the North-East Corner of Area A, Room E116 Kitchen. The Drawing doesn't indicate replacing the existing gutter or down spout in this area. Does the VA intend for the General Contractor to account for this in their base bid?
