About this file
This is a memorandum from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Bliss Directorate of Public Works (DPW), establishing final as-built drawing requirements and submission standards, dated March 29, 2016.
The memorandum specifies comprehensive deliverable requirements for as-built drawings to be submitted to the Fort Bliss DPW Master Planning division. Contractors must provide: one set of AutoCAD DWG files saved in 2015 AutoCAD version on two CDs, one set of PDF files on two CDs, and one set of mylar hard copies with 3 mil minimum thickness. All drawings must include all required disciplines (general, civil, architectural, landscaping, irrigation, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire systems) and be stamped "as-built" in the bottom right corner. All modifications, RFIs, and construction changes must be electronically incorporated into drawings with no red-line markups permitted. External reference (XRef) files must be included and bound to respective drawings. Civil drawings and maps must use viable coordinate systems, specifically Texas State Plane Central FIPS 4203 NAD 1983 or GCS 1984 UTM 13N if received from Master Planning. All drawings must contain accurate dimensions, coordinates, utility line depths, piping and ducting sizes, and complete information for turning points, brass caps, and survey points. Drawing sets must be coherently organized without division into fast track or other fragmented packages. Final submissions must be directed to the assigned DPW Point of Contact in the Engineering Service Division. The memorandum also applies these requirements to internal engineering projects and PRIDE initiatives.
