About this file
This document provides clarification for drawings related to a federal contract opportunity to refurbish and upgrade elevators in two buildings at the MannGrandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The project involves refurbishing and upgrading elevators in Buildings 1 and 27 under solicitation number 36C26024R0009 from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 20. The clarification specifies that during construction, secure barriers will isolate only the active construction areas, and that all other areas of the medical center will remain open and operational, including elevators not undergoing work. It also clarifies that references to vacating and securing access to "the entire unit" in the general notes on multiple drawings actually refer only to the bounded construction zones.
