About this file
This addendum modifies an earlier limited asbestos good faith survey conducted for the Mann Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. Additional asbestos sampling identified floor tile and mastic containing 1-5% chrysotile asbestos on the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th floors. The affected areas total approximately 308 square feet. Sample maps and laboratory analysis reports were updated accordingly.
The related federal contract opportunity solicits offers to refurbish and upgrade elevators in Buildings 1 and 27 at the Mann Grandstaff VA Medical Center. Offerors would be responsible for elevator modernization work while ensuring compliance with asbestos requirements identified in the modified survey addendum.

5.0 ASSUMED ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS (ASSUMED ACM)
The 5th Floor of the VAMC Building 1 was unable to be accessed due to surgery protocols in place at the VAMC. Therefore, all building materials are assumed to be ACM until such time that these materials can be sampled to determine asbestos content.
