About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Pest Control services at Naval Air Station I (NAS I) in Italy. The scope includes comprehensive integrated pest management (IPM) for various pest types, including nuisance pests, public health pests, structure-damaging pests, lawn and ornamental plant pests, vegetation management, and vertebrate pests. The contractor must perform scheduled pest control services six times per year, covering areas such as family housing, grounds, and facilities, with specific requirements for pest identification, treatment, and reporting.

Key performance requirements include obtaining proper Italian licensing and certifications for pest control personnel, using approved pesticides, maintaining detailed record-keeping through the NAVFAC Online Pesticide Reporting System, and following strict guidelines for pesticide application, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols. The contract includes both recurring work (scheduled pest control) and potential non-recurring work, with a service order limit of $1,000 per order. The contractor must submit monthly pest management reports, conduct pest surveys at specified frequencies, and ensure pest control is performed in compliance with local laws, installation policies, and environmental standards.
