About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Custodial Services, specifically Section C of a federal contract (Section C – 1503010) covering custodial and housekeeping requirements for Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and other facilities. The PWS details comprehensive cleaning and maintenance services including space cleaning, floor care, restroom services, building perimeter services, and specialized MTF services such as discharge cleaning and bed making.

Key performance objectives include maintaining clean, sanitary environments across various facility types, with specific emphasis on medical facilities where preventing infectious disease transmission is critical. The contractor must provide dedicated staffing for MTFs, perform urgent and routine cleaning services, and meet stringent performance standards. Services range from routine tasks like emptying waste containers and cleaning windows to specialized requirements such as sanitizing patient care areas, making beds, and responding to urgent cleaning requests within specified timeframes. The contract covers facilities at Naval Air Station Sigonella (NASSIG), with historical data indicating approximately 300 annual discharge cleanings and 2,555 total non-patient bed makings across two buildings.
