About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping services at a naval installation. The comprehensive contract requires the contractor to maintain improved grounds, operational areas, and storm drainage systems, with specific performance objectives across multiple service areas including lawn maintenance, vegetation control, debris removal, and waste collection.

Key service requirements include mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation, weed control, plant and tree maintenance, and specialized maintenance for sensitive areas like ammunition storage zones, anti-terrorism force protection perimeters, and airfields. The contractor must adhere to strict performance standards such as maintaining specified vegetation heights, removing debris, controlling unwanted vegetation, and ensuring areas remain clean and operationally functional. Additional unique requirements include maintaining playground equipment, managing outdoor waste collection, and developing water conservation plans. The contract also includes provisions for non-recurring work that can be ordered separately with the same performance standards as the primary recurring work.
