About this file

This document is Addendum 1 to a federal solicitation for the Fort Bliss National Cemetery project (Project 886CM3026), summarizing changes and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) across civil, landscape, architectural, electrical, and specification disciplines.

Civil and landscape revisions clarify crypt construction details, drainage specifications, and fill requirements across sheets CB501, CB502, CE121, LK111, and LP111, adopting ACI 318-19 standards and establishing uniform 3-inch decomposed granite cover as final stabilization. Architectural changes address a 2,500-square-foot stucco scope including exterior walls, chimneys, canopy sides, and ramp/stair walls, requiring three-coat direct-applied stucco on sheets 2101-AD201, 2101-AE101, 2101-AE111, 2101-AE201, and 4101-AE201, with specifications for chemical railing paint removal and clarified hardware responsibilities between the hardware contractor and security integrator. Electrical modifications remove references to Section 26 09 23 (Lighting Controls) across multiple sheets (2101-EL111, 3003-E-111, 3004-E-111, and related demolition sheets), add missing electrical coordination details, and specify GFI receptacle replacements. Specification section updates address door hardware assignments, stucco assembly and substrate requirements, clay roof tile underlayment details (prohibiting OSB and requiring two layers of self-adhering underlayment), surge protective devices, historic decorative metal repair procedures with TCLP testing, and Physical Access Control System configuration as a standalone network with 200 smart cards and no PIV middleware enterprise integration. All affected sheets have been completely replaced with ADD1 versions reflecting the RFI responses.
