About this file
This document is an architectural drawing for a roof replacement project at the Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Columbus, Ohio, operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The drawing shows an Enlarged Roof Plan for Roof 1C and establishes the scope of work for roof restoration and replacement activities.
The project scope includes selective removal of existing roofing systems down to the substrate, application of fluid-applied rehabilitation systems, and installation of new roofing systems to match existing conditions. Specific work notes indicate that existing roof drains, overflow drains, pipe vents, lightning protection grounding terminals, anchor post penetrations, HVAC equipment, and radio frequency equipment are to remain in place, with the radio frequency equipment requiring relocation during construction and return to its original location upon completion. The drawing was prepared as bid documents dated 05/06/2025 with one addendum issued on 04/27/2026. The document includes architectural details prepared by FFE (the consultant) and Heapy (architect/engineer of record), with the drawing designated as AE103 and marked as "Fully Sprinklered." Multiple roof sections are referenced (Roofs 1A through 1D, and Roofs 3A through 3B, 6, and 7), indicating this is part of a larger multi-phase roofing project across the building complex.
