About this opportunity
The State of Nevada, through the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child and Family Services, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive recruitment activities for foster home recruitment in 15 rural Nevada counties, including Carson City. The goal of the Rural Nevada Foster Care Recruitment project is to educate and encourage potential foster families in these rural communities to foster children locally. The selected vendor will be responsible for creating an advertising and communications plan, developing rural media lists, creating content for various media channels, negotiating and fulfilling advertising placements, and providing analytical reports. The contract term is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2023, upon Board of Examiners approval, and end on June 30, 2027, with a total not-to-exceed amount of $600,000 ($150,000 per year). Vendors must have a minimum of 1 year of experience advertising in Nevada, specifically in the 15 rural counties, and demonstrate familiarity with Nevada and foster care. The evaluation criteria include experience, expertise, competence, conformance to the RFP, and cost.
The solicitation does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The reference provided indicates that the State intends to award the contract to FM marketing LLC, subject to successful contract negotiations and agency approval, but no other information is provided regarding incumbent vendors or current contractors. The total budget for the project is not to exceed $600,000, with an annual budget of $150,000.
