PART 1 GENERAL
1.1 SUBMITTALS
Government approval is required for submittals with a "G" designation;
submittals not having a "G" designation are for information only.
Submittals with an "S" are for inclusion in the Sustainability eNotebook, in conformance to Section 01 33 29 SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING. Submit the following in accordance with Section 01 33 00 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES:

1.2 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Protect materials from weather, soil, and damage during delivery, storage, and construction.
Deliver materials in their original packages, containers, or bundles bearing the brand name and the name and type of the material.
1.2.1 Samples
Provide the following equipment samples: one full-sized sample of each type of cabinet being installed; three samples of wall brackets and accessories of each type being used.
Use approved samples for installation, with proper identification and storage.
PART 2 PRODUCTS
Submit fabrication drawings consisting of fabrication and assembly details performed in the factory and product data for the following items:
Accessories, cabinets, Wall Brackets.
2.1 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
2.1.1 Material
Provide enameled steel extinguisher shell.
2.1.2 Size
10 pounds extinguishers.
2.1.3 Accessories
Forged brass valve
Fusible plug
Safety release
Pressure gage
2.2 EQUIPMENT
2.2.1 Cabinets
2.2.1.1 Material
Provide stainless steel cabinets sized for 10 pound fire extinguisher.
Cabinet door to have vertical acrylic vision panel, partial width of door. Provide vertical diecut lettering to read "FIRE EXTINGUISHER" in black color to metal section of the cabinet door..
2.2.1.2 Type
Provide semi-recessed cabinet for a 4 inch wall with trim projection from

2.2.1.3 Size
Dimension cabinets to accommodate the specified fire extinguishers.
PART 3 EXECUTION
3.1 INSTALLATION
Comply with the manufacturer's recommendations for all installations.
Mount bottom of cabinet 36 inches AFF, unless noted otherwise.
Comply with the manufacturer's recommendations for all installations.
3.2 PROTECTION
3.2.1 Repairing
Remove and replace damaged and unacceptable portions of completed work with new work at no additional cost to the Government.
Submit replacement parts list indicating specified items replacement part, replacement cost, and name, address and contact for replacement parts distributor.
3.2.2 Cleaning
Clean all surfaces of the work, and adjacent surfaces which are soiled as a result of the work. Remove from the site all construction equipment, tools, surplus materials and rubbish resulting from the work.
