About this file

This Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) template outlines the collection and security of personally identifiable information (PII) for a Department of Defense information system or electronic collection. If PII is collected, the template requires details on the PII elements, confidentiality level, security controls, records disposition schedule, and related compliance documentation. The template also provides sections for review and approval by program managers, privacy officers, records officers, senior information security officers, and component CIOs.

The solicitation requests proposals for a support contract to provide electronic receipt of biomedical research applications, application compliance review, scientific peer review, and maintenance of an electronic portal for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs and U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command. Offerors should have experience with supporting biomedical research application evaluation and portal management. Proposals are due by an unspecified date. The single-award, firm-fixed-price contract will be issued by the Department of the Army Medical Command for an initial period of one year with four one-year options.
