About this file
This document provides an overview of the Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (eBRAP) system and functions. The eBRAP system supports the electronic receipt, review, and award management of biomedical research applications for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs and U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command. Key capabilities of the eBRAP system include the electronic setup and configuration of funding opportunities, iterative review workflows, compliance monitoring and application assignment, scientific peer review, and post-award administration. The system also interfaces with Grants.gov to retrieve full application packages. Administrative users can perform functions like editing user and organization profiles, approving organizations, and accessing helpdesk reports. This document appears to be an interface guide that describes the various modules and capabilities available within the eBRAP system to support application processing.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation seeking support contract services for application evaluation and support of the eBRAP system. Services include electronic receipt of applications, application compliance reviews, scientific peer reviews, and maintenance and enhancement of the government-owned eBRAP portal. The solicitation number is W81XWH21R0001 and is issued by the Department of the Army Medical Command for the purpose of awarding a contract to provide continued biomedical research application evaluation and support for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs and U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command programs.
