About this file
This is an attachment to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) containing language modifications for a full food service contract at Fort Rucker, AL. The document specifies employee break and meal period requirements and nepotism policies applicable to the contract.
The break and meal period provisions establish that employees scheduled for continuous shifts exceeding four hours receive a thirty-minute unpaid meal period scheduled by Management at regularly scheduled times based on workload requirements, with employees required to clock out and back in. Employees working shifts in excess of three hours receive a fifteen-minute paid rest break period at Management's discretion, which cannot be taken at shift beginning or end, in combination with meal periods, or as a substitute for meal periods. If an employee is called back during a scheduled meal period, they receive full pay for that period plus another break when workload permits; if called back during a rest break, they receive another full fifteen-minute paid break. The nepotism provision prohibits the Company from scheduling two or more immediate family members on the same shift in the same dining facility simultaneously. Immediate family members are defined as spouse, mother, father, child (including step), siblings (including step), immediate in-laws (brother, sister, mother, father), grandparents, and grandchildren. This CBA language modification was added via Amendment 0002 issued on 20 November 2026 to solicitation W5168W27RA014, with a Period of Performance established as 15 December 2026 through 14 December 2029.
