About this file
This document contains an underwater bridge inspection report and related federal contract opportunity for bridge repair work. The underwater inspection report provides condition assessments for bent columns and notes moderate abrasion on columns at bent numbers three and four with no footings exposed and riprap providing adequate scour protection. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation by the Oregon Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration for bridge repair work on 35.88 miles of OR Route 18 and 0.11 miles of an option route. The project location is five miles southeast of Springfield, Oregon in Lane County. The estimated price range for the firm fixed price contract is between $15 million and $20 million.
