About this file

Amendment 0010 modifies the Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. The amendment makes multiple changes, including extending the Phase Two proposal due date from June 3, 2025 to June 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM PDT, and providing responses to 20 separate Requests for Information (RFIs) that adjust various sections of the original solicitation. Key modifications include revising technical specifications for HVAC, plumbing, foundations, security systems, and project objectives, as well as adding several technical enclosures such as geotechnical reports, historical small business utilization documents, and control system diagrams. The amendment also introduces a new maintenance bid option for two years of system maintenance and expands the BESS capacity description from 10.6 MWh to 10MW/40MWh, with the system designed to provide approximately 48% of base-wide electrical load during summer and 60% during winter months.
