About this file

This is Amendment 0002 to Solicitation N40085-26-R-9014, issued by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic for BEQ Chiller Repairs at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The amendment extends the proposal submission deadline to April 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM. The amendment must be acknowledged upon proposal submission, with failure to acknowledge potentially resulting in proposal rejection. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

The amendment addresses three clarifications submitted by potential offerors regarding technical specifications. The first clarification confirms that the chiller to be replaced at HP121 is a 90-ton York unit, not the 70-ton capacity referenced in the schedule. The second addresses identical plan pages for buildings BB274 and BB275, confirming these buildings have identical equipment and were constructed on the same contract. The third clarification confirms that the HP476 system will operate at a 44°F leaving water set point rather than the 40°F previously shown in the schedule, accounting for typical operating conditions at Camp Lejeune. These answers are now binding elements of the solicitation for all offerors.

CONTINUATION SHEET

1. QUESTION: SOW for HP121 says 90 ton chiller but the schedule shows a 70 ton. What should we be pricing?

ANSWER: The Chiller to be replaced is a 90 Ton. The existing chiller is a 90-Ton York. See attached.

2. QUESTION: I also noticed that the plan pages for BB274 & BB275 are identical. Nots sure if worth addressing but wanted to point out.

ANSWER: These buildings have identical equipment and were built on the same contract.

3. QUESTION: The scheduled leaving water temperature on HP476 is 40 degrees. Providing leaving water at that temperature creates a very low suction temperature. Can you confirm if there is glycol in they system at HP476. If there is not glycol can you confirm if the existing chiller is actually running at 40 degrees LWT. Typically we see Camp Lejeune with a 44F or 42F LWT.

ANSWER: The system will be operating at 44F leaving water set point .

4. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
