About this file
This is a Continuation Sheet – Modification "A" to a construction contract for FY 26 Marine Corps Barracks repair and replacement work at MCB Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. The eProjects Work Order Number is 1894552, dated 23 April 2026.
The modification revises three primary areas of the contract requirements. Under Part 2 – General Requirements, Section 01 57 19 (Temporary Environmental Controls), the surplus soils disposal language is replaced to require that all surplus soil media be anticipated as contaminant-impacted (including PFAS/PFOA, petroleum, metals, VOCs, and PAHs) and disposed of at a licensed, permitted facility accepting PFAS-impacted soil. Similarly, construction dewatering effluent requirements are updated to anticipate contaminant-impacted material that must be treated to non-detect levels prior to discharge into an approved vegetated swale, with contractor coordination required. Under Part 3B – Project Program, all references to UFC 3-600-10N are replaced with UFC 3-600-01 (Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities). Additionally, Section 2.6 (Special Design Challenges) is revised to clarify that the Government will provide a revised Section 01 91 00.15 22 Total Building Commissioning as design progresses with no additional coordination effort required from the contractor. Section G201090 (Other Roadways) is updated to reference UFC 3-600-01 requirements instead of ESR Section D4090, and the requirement for accommodation of two fire truck trips monthly is removed.
