About this file
This document provides details for a federal solicitation seeking design-build construction services for eight military construction projects at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune to recover from Hurricane Florence damage. The solicitation will result in an firm-fixed-price contract valued between $100 million and $250 million to be awarded by July 20, 2020. The work includes construction of new headquarters buildings for various units along with demolition and site improvements. A pre-proposal site visit will be held on March 17-18, 2020, with registration required by March 11. Offerors must submit technical, past performance, and price proposals, which will be evaluated using a best value tradeoff process. The technical factors are equally important to past performance, and together they are significantly more important than price.
