TITLE: Drawing Discrepancies
QUESTION:
KTR request clarification of the type of TLI to be installed for the CAT SSDG Lube Oil Storage Tank. Reference 2.1.4, Installation Key Plan 76-A shows the TLI to be a Wire Type while Reference 2.1.5, TLI “Installation” Block Wiring Diagram, Page 8 shows the Tank receiving a Rod type TLI. Please clarify the type of TLI to be installed.
ANSWER:
The CAT SSDG Lube Oil Storage Tank will get a Rod Type TLI ¾”.

TITLE: Discontinued Material & Part Numbers
QUESTION:
KTR has discovered that the Temperature Transmitter, Yokogawa - P/N YTA110-DA2DB/D/FF1 item (b) of 2.3.1 was discontinued on May 19 2016. Please provide KTR with a suitable substitute.
Please provide part numbers for the following:
Seven (7) Temperature Sensors
Twenty Five (25) Contact temperature sensing devices
A revised Work Item 301 to correct material list will be issued with Amendment 0003.

SPECIFICATION ITEM NO.: N32205-20-R-6500
PARAGRAPH / SECTION NO: Block 9
TITLE: Proposal submission due date/time
QUESTION:
Contractor is experiencing slow response from Vendors and Subcontractors solicited for this proposal and due to Holiday schedules, only half of the subcontractors/vendors have responded. Currently contractor only has 10 business days to assemble our proposal and ship to the Norfolk VA.
Contractor respectfully requests a bid extension from 10, Jan 2020 at 2:00pm to 24 Jan 2020. Additionally, please extend due date for offers’ questions of 13 December to 13 Jan 2020.
Additionally please consider the 2 business days needed to ship our proposal to Norfolk VA.
After careful consideration between the PM and Type Desk of the contractors request to extend the closing date, the PM and Type Desk have no issue extending the closing date for the solicitation to 17 Jan 2020 at 02:00 PM EST and the last day for submittal of Requests for Clarifications extended until 8 January 2019; 02:00 PM EST.

TITLE: FLIGHT DECK MODIFICATIONS
QUESTION:
Specification required contractor to renew the ceiling panels and ceiling panel support grid. Please advise if existing lighting, sensors, vent defusers, etc. will all be reused.
Yes, Existing Lighting, Ventilation and Sensors will be removed and reinstalled as interferences to accomplish the replacement of the overhead insulation under the flight deck. The Existing Lighting, Ventilation and Sensors should be inspected when removed to determine the suitability for continued service and a report submitted to the MSCREP identifying any descrepancies found. The correction of any descrepancies will the the subject of a CCO to the contract.

TITLE: Distilling Plant Deck and Foundation Steel Replacement
QUESTION:
Specification was not provided for work item 0197. Possibly it was left on the J-3 inadvertently.
Please advise.
ANSWER:
Work Item 0197 is a CAT “B” Item for Lead Paint Testing and Abatement which was provided with the work item package.
A revised J-3 will be issued with Amendment 0003.

QUESTION:
Reference 2.1.1. NAVSEA Drawing 506-5980080 Rev C Tank Vents and Sounds was not provided in solicitation package or in Amendment 002 as stated and will be required to determine routes, penetrations, and sizes.
