About this file
This is a structured cabling technology design document for Morrish Elementary School in the Swartz Creek Community Schools system, created by Convergent Technology Partners. The document consists of a floor plan and technical specifications for Category 6A UTP cable installation throughout the school building, with work to be completed between December 2024 and January 2025. The scope includes installation requirements for wall-mounted single-gang back boxes with white two-port faceplates, ceiling cable runs, and telecom cabinets and bus-bars throughout the facility.
The technical specifications require all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A standard, with specific installation requirements including concealed raceway placement, service loops for ceiling locations, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jack terminations, and grounding for all cabinets. The floor plan shows multiple UTP locations and ceiling UTP locations distributed throughout the building, along with telecom cabinets and bus-bars. Installation heights and placement requirements are specified relative to whiteboards and wall locations, with precise requirements for cable concealment and service loop securing.
