About this file
This is a structured cabling design drawing for Unit D of Swartz Creek High School, created by Convergent Technology Partners for Swartz Creek Community Schools. The drawing shows detailed specifications for UTP Category 6A cable installations throughout Unit D of the high school, including classroom locations 311-320, storage rooms, and an athletic training area. The design was completed in December 2024/January 2025.
The technical specifications require all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A, with wall locations mounted in surface-mounted single-gang back boxes using white two-port faceplates. The drawing includes specific installation requirements such as concealed raceway cabling, ceiling service loops, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jack terminations, and grounding requirements for all cabinets. The plan shows multiple UTP locations, telecom cabinets, and bus bars throughout the space, with specific attention to placement near whiteboards at standard height and proper cable management practices. A bar scale is provided for field verification of all dimensions.
