About this file
This is a structured cabling floor plan and technical specifications document for Dieck Elementary School in the Swartz Creek Community Schools system, prepared by Convergent Technology Partners. The document details the installation requirements for Category 6A UTP cabling throughout the school building, including specifications for wall locations with surface-mounted single-gang back boxes, white two-port faceplates, and ceiling mount locations. The design dates shown are December 17, 2024, and January 23, 2025.
The floor plan shows the layout of UTP locations, telecom cabinets, and bus bars throughout the school building. Key technical requirements include using ANSI/TIA Category 6A cable, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jacks for termination, concealed raceway installation below ceiling, and service loops for ceiling locations. The document specifies that all cabinets require grounding, and bus block locations are to be determined using best practices during installation. Installation heights are standardized, with wall locations to be centered below whiteboards or centered on walls without whiteboards at standard height.
