About this file
This is a structured cabling system design drawing for Swartz Creek Community Schools' Swartz Creek Middle School, prepared by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details the specifications for Category 6A UTP cable installations throughout Unit C of the middle school, including wall and ceiling UTP locations, telecom cabinets, and telecom bus-bars. The design was completed in January 2025 and includes detailed installation requirements for cable routing, terminations, and mounting specifications.
The technical specifications require all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A standard, with wall locations mounted in surface-mounted single-gang back boxes using white two-port faceplates. The installation includes specific requirements for service loops in ceiling locations, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jack terminations, and grounding for all cabinets. The drawing shows multiple classroom locations with designated wall and ceiling UTP placements, along with utility rooms, offices, and common areas requiring network connectivity infrastructure.
