About this file

This is a technical drawing/specification document for structured cabling work at Swartz Creek High School, prepared by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details Unit F of the high school, which includes a gymnasium, lobby, and locker room facilities. The document specifies requirements for Category 6A UTP cable installation, including wall locations with surface-mounted single-gang back boxes, white two-port faceplates, and ceiling mounting specifications.

The technical specifications require all Category 6A cables to be terminated on white 8P/8C (RJ45) jacks, with wall locations to be centered below whiteboards at standard height or centered on walls without whiteboards. The contractor must conceal all below-ceiling cable in raceway, provide ceiling locations with adequate service loops, and ensure proper grounding for all cabinets. The drawing is dated January 24, 2025, with an earlier design date of December 17, 2024, and includes detailed installation notes and a symbol legend for various telecommunication components.
