About this file
This is a technical drawing showing structured cabling plans for Unit A of Swartz Creek High School, prepared by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details the installation specifications for Category 6A UTP cabling throughout the school building, including classroom and corridor locations. The document is dated January 24, 2025, with an earlier design date of December 17, 2024.
The drawing includes detailed specifications for cable installation, requiring all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A standard, with wall locations using surface-mounted single-gang back boxes and white two-port faceplates. Technical requirements include concealed raceway installation below ceiling, service loops for ceiling locations, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jack terminations, and grounding requirements for telecom cabinets. The floor plan shows multiple classrooms, corridors (300 and 350), and includes a symbol legend indicating UTP locations, ceiling UTP locations, telecom cabinets, new telecom bus-bars, existing bus-bars, and old computer lab areas.
