About this file
This is a structured cabling design drawing for Swartz Creek Middle School Unit B, created by Convergent Technology Partners. The drawing details Category 6A UTP cable installation specifications for multiple classrooms and office spaces, including specific requirements for wall locations, faceplates, and ceiling installations. The design was authored by DLF and EGH, with dates of 12/17/2024 and 1/27/2025 respectively.
The technical specifications require all UTP cable to be ANSI/TIA Category 6A standard, with wall locations using surface-mounted single-gang back boxes and white two-port faceplates. Installation requirements include concealed raceway cabling below ceiling, service loops for ceiling locations, white 8P/8C (RJ45) jack terminations, and proper grounding for all cabinets. The floor plan shows multiple classrooms (401-412), offices, and work/pull rooms with specific UTP location markers and telecom cabinet placements. A symbol legend indicates wall UTP locations, ceiling UTP locations, telecom cabinets, telecom bus bar, and fireplace cabinet positions throughout the facility.
