About this file
This is a Specifications document with geotechnical analysis for a gravesite expansion project at Leavenworth National Cemetery. The document establishes technical requirements for expanding burial capacity at the cemetery through site development and construction activities.
The specifications detail geotechnical site conditions including soil composition, groundwater levels, and bearing capacity requirements necessary for the expansion project. The document appears to provide baseline engineering data and site characterization to inform contractors' design and construction proposals. Key technical parameters address soil stability, drainage considerations, and subsurface conditions that contractors must account for when planning gravesite development and construction methodologies. The specifications are structured to support the solicitation (36C78626B0027) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration and enable qualified contractors to submit informed bids that address the specific geotechnical challenges and requirements of the Leavenworth National Cemetery site expansion project.
