About this file
This document contains a mission brief and related federal contract opportunity solicitation. The mission brief outlines the objectives, capabilities, and accomplishments of the 36th Rescue Squadron located at Fairchild Air Force Base, including executing over 1,500 flight hours per year in support of SERE training, conducting parachute jumps and hoist training, and saving over 696 lives since 1971.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation seeking maintenance services for rotary-wing aircraft including UH-1N, HH-60, MH-139, and V-22 aircraft located at multiple bases. Services include 24/7 maintenance and repairs, inspections, modifications, and logistical support. A firm-fixed-price contract with both fixed-price and cost-reimbursement CLINs is contemplated for a ten-year period from October 2019 to September 2029. The NAICS code is 488190 and small businesses must have a size standard of $32.5 million. Multiple awards are planned across two pools, with up to five contractors selected for each small business and full and open competition pool.
