MEMORANDUM FOR INTERESTED CAF ADAIR PARTIES
FROM: Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration
Center (AMIC)
SUBJECT: Solicitation No. FA4890-17-R-0007 - Combat Air Forces (CAF) Adversary Air
(ADAIR) Industry Site Visit and One-on-One Meetings
1. HQ ACC AMIC will be hosting a site visit to the Langley AFB Operating Location (OL) and one-on-one meetings Tuesday to Thursday, 29-31 August 2017. On 25 July 2017, the Air Force posted the draft Request for Proposals (RFP) and updated draft Performance Work Statements
(PWSs) for the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) master contract, as well as PWSs for the 6 OLs targeted to be awarded at time of IDIQ award.
2. The Langley OL site visit will be held at the 71st Flight Test Squadron (FTS) starting at 0900 each morning. All attendees will meet at 180 East Flightline Road, Langley AFB, VA, 23665, NLT 0830 on their scheduled date. Attachment 1 includes a map with parking area annotated.
Please be prepared to walk up to ½ mile during the site visit.
3. The one-on-one meetings will be conducted in two locations, depending on the day: 29-30
August will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Kiln Creek, 180 Regal Way, Newport News, VA
23602, in the Lee Hall conference room. On 31 August, the one-on-ones will be held at ACC
AMIC, 129 Andrews Ave, Hampton, VA 23665, in the 1st floor conference room. Two one-on-one meetings are scheduled for each day, starting at 1200. Each individual meeting will last up to
90 minutes and conducted by appointment on a first-come/first-served basis.
4. Each company is limited to four (4) attendees per company. The purpose of the one-on-one sessions is to answer questions and allow the Government to obtain specific feedback from your company’s representatives on both the site visit and draft documentation. Company presentations are not required at this time, as we would like to encourage discussion regarding your potential proposed approach to meeting CAF ADAIR needs.
5. If you have questions prior to the site visit and one-on-ones, please submit them in writing and mark anything you consider proprietary. We consider the draft RFP and PWS currently posted on FBO as a means of collecting market research, and are particularly interested in your feedback to further refine it for final posting. Additionally, please see Attachment 2, Industry One-on-One questions, and be prepared to discuss during your one-on-one meeting.
At the conclusion of the event, all non-proprietary questions and the government’s answers will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov without publicizing the source. Please send all questions, via email to the CAF ADAIR inbox
Agile Combat Power
(ACCAMIC.DRX.AdversaryAir@us.af.mil) no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday, 14
