FA485518R0003 – SABER Solicitation Questions and Answers Part 6
1. Since Amendment 03 extended the due date again, should we expect any further addenda as a reason for this extension?
Answer: No further addendums are associated with amendment 03.
2. Per SABER General Requirements Section 5.2.1.3 - A site plan (or plans) depicting project location, site boundaries and access, building footprints and orientation, stand-off distances, utility types, sizes and locations, and schematic grading and drainage strategies. Include a parking plan with quantities and basic dimensions, and depicting site access. However, the SOW for the sample project does not specify parking lot and or plan. Will a parking plan including, parking quantities, basic dimensions and site access be required as part of the Sample project, site plan?
Answer: The general requirements are an overview of requirements for projects, and as such, may not be applicable to all task orders. Per the sample project SOO, there is no requirement for a parking plan for this task order.
3. Per SABER General Requirements Section 5.2.1.7 – At least three perspective renderings to illustrate building massing and fenestration, colors and basic materials. Is this required for the Sample project? If so, could you be more specific on what the requirement would be as the above statement is fairly ambiguous.
Answer: The general requirements are an overview of requirements for projects. This may not be applicable to all task orders and shall be identified as part of the project requirements.
4. Per RFP, Page 60 of 65, Section 6.3.1 specifies the Evaluation factors for Sample project. This section indicates that the evaluation will be based on items listed in Section L paragraphs 5.5.1.2 through
5.5.1.11. This indicated elimination of the first items listed 5.5.1.1 “Design Narrative and Scope of
Work.” Is it the Government’s intention to eliminate this requirement?
Answer: Section M, paragraph 6.3.1 has been amended to read “The ability to provide detailed design narrative, plans, drawings, and specifications adequately addressing the items listed in Section L, paragraph 5.5.1.1 through paragraph 5.5.1.11”, which was accomplished through solicitation amendment
04.
5. There is not a reference to how many sets of drawings are required for the proposal. Is one set of drawings sufficient?
Answer: Drawings requirements are outlined in solicitation Attachment 1, SABER General
Requirements, paragraph 1.13 and paragraph 5.0. Additional information regarding number of required copies are outlined in Section L, Instructions to Offerors, paragraph 3.5 and paragraph 5.
