About this file
This document is an attachment to a Request for Responses (RFR) for the Enhanced Emissions & Safety Test Program issued by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). The RFR is seeking a contractor to manage and implement the state's Vehicle Emission and Safety Test Program, including developing and managing the Inspection Station network, developing and implementing inspection protocols, and acquiring, providing, and maintaining Inspection Station equipment and data systems. The contractor will also be responsible for training program inspectors and providing communications to the public, inspectors, and repairers.
The document provides details on the existing computing environments for both MassDEP and the RMV, including the locations, workstation hardware and software, database platforms, and development languages. This information is provided to help potential bidders understand the technical environment the contractor will need to integrate with to fulfill the requirements of the program.
