Enter general unclassified description of this procurement.: The Survivability Test Stand (STS) project addresses the ground-test capability gap by providing the National Radar Cross-Section Test Facility (NRTF) with new measurement capabilities to permit acquisition of high-fidelity outdoor RCS, IR and acoustics measurements from a running aircraft engine. This advanced capability accommodates both current-generation large military engines and future engine designs, enabling the measurement of the engine plume RCS and engine RCS through an integrated rotation mechanism, offering continuous 360 degree rotation, mechanized and unmechanized, providing a full 360-degree Field of Regard with respect to the engine test-article. This project includes test support, data acquisition and secure preparation and storage areas for test-articles, special test equipment, and consumables. This task order covers the design, procurement, installation and test/check-out of the STS system.
